Reviews
We spent three weeks in Italy, following the recommendations of slow food and others this place was among our top favourites. Great taste, beautiful dishes, worth the detour.
This is one of the best restaurants in Italy. It is a lovely place and the staff is very professional an friendly!
Super!
Awesome food, very friendly, and lovable Italian flair.
5 gold stars.
This ancient place lacks absolutely nothing, from the impeccable care of the tablecloths and napkins (sewn by a textile company from Villa Santina), to tasteful furnishings.
I tasted a truly exquisite Fassona tartare (for someone who doesn't like tartare), fillet with pepper, perfect cooking and very high quality of meat.
The owner who served us also accepted an off-menu request, bringing us a taste of local cheeses.
Highly recommended.
There are no more beautiful words than the reviews I read, I didn't find an out of tune note, everything was served with impeccable friendliness.
The difference is made by the flavours, an explosion in the mouth of aromas you've never smelt, the attention to detail, even the bread in the basket with various types of local breadsticks.
And then at the end when you leave and have paid the bill, you can't wait to come back to discover other flavours. Well done, well done
Lunch for a passing couple. It does not have private parking but there is a public car park a few steps away. Excellent welcome in an old-fashioned tavern. Room naturally lit and accentuated by white embroidered tablecloths. Everything recalls times gone by and the fogolâr (beautifully kept) warms your heart with what it can inspire. Unlike the place, however, the cuisine takes a leap into the future: high quality plating and processing of raw materials worthy of a high-end restaurant. Delicious dishes and good portions.
The desserts are also good, such as the tiramisu (not in the photo because it was finished before making it).
We will definitely be back!
Attracted by the winnings at four restaurants, we passed through that area and stopped. Nice place, a little old perhaps but with its charm. The staff and owner were very friendly. the food but obviously it's a personal taste, it didn't totally convince me. The chestnut pasta tasted nothing like chestnuts. And the venison with polenta was not very tasty. Excellent quality, nothing to say, but in my opinion an extra touch is missing. But I still recommend coming to eat here because I would make a puree at least once
